Detonators play a critical role in controlled blasting and ignition applications across mining, construction, oil & gas exploration, defense, and infrastructure development. Designed to initiate high explosives safely and accurately, detonators ensure that energy release occurs in a precise, predictable manner. Their reliability is essential for both operational efficiency and safety, particularly in complex projects such as tunneling, quarrying, seismic surveys, and large-scale excavation.
Modern detonators have evolved significantly from traditional fuse-based systems. Today’s market includes electric detonators, non-electric detonators, electronic detonators, and hybrid solutions, each tailored to specific operational requirements. Electronic detonators, in particular, are gaining attention due to their high timing accuracy, programmable delay sequences, and enhanced safety features. For our event, we only permit Smoke Grenades (Subject to fire regulations), all other grenade types such as those containing projectiles or sound only are not allowed for use, due to safety.
